It likely comes as no surprise at all that on this Election Day, I am choosing to be thankful for freedom.
Today, we get to exercise one of our greatest freedoms and privileges in America – we get to vote. I encourage each and everyone to go out and vote today if you haven’t done so already. This privilege was not come by easily for our country. Starting over two hundred years ago, lives have been laid down to give us the freedoms we enjoy today. So, exercise this amazing opportunity and cast your vote. Your vote is your voice and every last vote counts.
I would also like to take the opportunity to say THANK YOU to the countless service people (men and women) who have ever served or are currently serving our country in any way. This goes for military, police, firefighters, EMS, etc. If you are a person who ever serves the public and/or puts yourself in harms way for the safety of the rest of us — THANK YOU. I know that two words don’t seem like a lot, but I truly mean those words with an outpouring of gratitude.
Have a blessed day, y’all. And…GO VOTE!
Sincerely,
Kelly
