WHO Wednesday

In keeping with yesterday’s fashion post, I decided to do something that I think is fun for today’s WHO (What’s Hot Online) Wednesday post. Less than a week ago, many of us were glued to the television watching the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton. While I could write many a post on the things I loved about that wedding, I decided to declare hats to be my WHO item this week. Specifically, beautiful hats worn to amazing occasions. Since the Kentucky Derby is right around the corner, I have further occasion to feature hats. No, I won’t be attending the Derby, but I definitely have a fascination for fascinators — and other gorgeous hats.

These are just a few of my favorites and there are lots more beautiful hats on their site. I don’t have a reason to wear them, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting them.  I just adore them! I definitely think that hats are “What’s Hot Online” and in reality. I wish we wore hats more often in the US.

Today’s WHO is a video that went viral over Easter weekend. “How Great Thou Art” is one of my all-time favorite hymns.  Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill perform this version together. I am a HUGE fan of country music, so to hear these two talented artists sing this hymn is just awesome to me. I hope you all enjoy it:

I decided to start something fun on Wednesdays. I decided to call it WHO – What’s Hot Online. This will be a collect of various things – great blogs, articles of interest, recipes, news stories, etc. I’m always open to suggestion as well.

For my very first WHO, I decided to highlight my friend Cheryl’s blog called Live Fit Daily. I have a link for this blog in my sidebar, but it’s more than just a link – it’s a wholehearted referral. I have known Cheryl for a number of years and I have always known her to be very active and fit.  I take her Zumba class when I can and I am still amazed at her boundless energy and the way she can smile at the end of an hour workout.  She has also been a cheerleader for me with running. She is one of the ones that told me to stick with it even when I didn’t like it because it would get better. She was right. No surprise there. This lady knows her stuff when it comes to exercise and so much more.  So, when I recommend her blog it’s not random – it’s completely on purpose because I trust her knowledge and advice.
